“If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things.”

“Sometimes our greatest challenge is to get inside our own heads to understand what makes us tick. Why do we feel and behave the way we do?” This a quote from Unload Your Emotional Baggage. I spend maybe too much thinking and evaluating myself and others, but last weekend at the ladies retreat something the speaker said made me think about a person I am struggling with. I realized I did not want to forgive this person and I quite possibly wanted harm to come to her. I needed to realize she is going through something I have no understanding of and with God’s grace I needed to forgive her. It is hard, but when someone else is nasty and ugly I think we need to consider why they are that way and respond with God’s love.
