Wrong

This morning I briefly caught CNN broadcasting the National Press Club speech by Rev. Jeremiah Wright.  He is the retiring pastor of Trinity UCC in Chicago.  I had to leave for church but I heard the end of his speech calling for reconciliation between races and cultures.  I agreed.  But then came the question and answer time…Whoa!

This guy would not back down or interpret any of his divisive and bombastic remarks he previously made in some sermons.  The ones Obama had to distance himself from.  What got me was his ATTITUDE.  He was in love with his cleverness, rhetorical side-steps, and his color and voice.  Pompous and provocative.  There were many “guests” in the audience besides the Press people.  And Wright really played to the “guests” who were there to cheer him on.  This will have the blog world really responding in great numbers and be the talk of the news pundits for this week on TV and Talk Radio.  Just listen and read all about it.

I am so glad I don’t have to apologize for UCC national news stories anymore.  Ironically, a member of Zion called me to say that a relative, who is a member of a UCC church in another state, had their newly installed pastor preach a sermon defending and honoring Rev. Wright.  Needless to say, they aren’t going back to that UCC church.  This is really sad.

Nothing positive for Abama going on here. Nothing positive for the Democrats and ironically the repubicans will once again be able to slip in with out much effort after watching the Demo’s hang themselves. Such obvious goings on. Wow. What’s wrong with this Wright?
