I am home on Friday after preaching at the United Evangelical Good Friday service. It was a strong support to have Andy Hopp by my side and then reading the Scripture before my message. He is such a blessing to me and to all who know Zion’s ministry. Good to see Zion members sprinkled throughout the gathered faithful.
The church was packed – 600 – at South Side Alliance Church. The worship teams and special music were good. Can I be honest? I am old school here and missed the traditional hymns about the blood of Christ and the Cross. Nevertheless, it was a good service.
Plus, with the snow coming down – praise God it was not scheduled for 7:00 PM! Good to hear people respond to my message with “Amens” and “Praise Gods” through out the delivery.
Kathy could not attend as she had to take Eric to the oral surgeon for Wisdom tooth removal. They came home shortly after I got home. Eric is woozy from the anesthetic. Hope he can eat some ham for Easter. Lu and Bill come tomorrow and spend the weekend celebrating the Resurrection with us.
God bless you as together we celebrate God’s Power and Love.

I loved your mathematical equation and the accompanying obituary.
I sent a note to Ray Pritchard complimenting him on his sermon yesterday. I told him to check out YOUR blog, and that I hoped he would visit Zion while I’m still around to meet him. He replied that he has been invited but the date has not yet been worked out. He also said to say hello to you.
May God Bless you and your family Pastor Steve. Have a wonderful Easter!
