Andy Hopp and I wanted to help Rev. Tom Collins (retired Covenant Pastor/Professor) with his ministry to prisoners in Madison. He is the guy, second from the right straight ahead. Andy scoured the downstairs cabinets at church and we found old Bibles that looked like they hadn’t been used since the 1970’s. They were probably sitting in those cabinets since then.
We took them down to our Covenant pastor’s meeting in Milwaukee yesterday and delivered them to Tom. He was thrilled.
It is always a good time meeting with other pastors in ministry and sharing the ups and downs of sowing the seed of the word in today’s vineyard.
