I came home through a windy and wet rain down pour. Thunder was the music and lightning was the sky show. Leaves were falling faster off the trees than defensive Vikings off the blocks of Packers. (How did I ever come up with that one?)
Little Kia was so glad to see me come through the door. She is terrorized by thunder and lightning. I had to pick her up and hold her close to my body like Donald Driver holds a Brett Favre record breaking pass. That’s real close. Kia was trembling.
She follows me everywhere I go and is now laying at my feet by the computer. I sure am glad we don’t have a 90 pound pooch with the same fear factor. May the Packers scare the lefse out of those Minnesota Vikings when they take the field on Sunday.

As a Minnesota native and still a fan (but not die-hard anymore), I appreciated your post!
BTW, it should be Pack 34, MN 10 this Sunday!
with infinite hope, (in Christ, not the Vikes!), Jim
