Today we met Covenant pastors and spouses for a Brewer game. We did a tailgate party before the game. I brought the Old Wisconsin real casing wieners and buns for a good ballpark bite. It was hot in the parking lot – real hot. And the attendance today was over 41,000. Too bad the Brewers could not please the big crowd. The Mets pounded the pitching leaving us with a score of 12 -4.
I did not think the Brewers were living up to the hype of the first part of the season. And if they keep playing like they did today, well, the Cubs are going to take the division. But we Covenanters had fun. Thanks to Jim E. for organizing the event for all of us!

Too bad we didn’t see the “extra-curricular” activities in the Milwaukee dugout! Have a great time up at the campground. (dothey have a link?) And Cathy is trying to post, but there’s some weird slowness going on with our service! Great to see YOUR Kathy!
with infinite hope, Jim
